Many customers install two DumPits in-line, allowing a two-hopper semi-trailer to drop the entire load in minutes or less. Our most common sizes for double DumPit systems are 500 or 650 bushels, but they are available in any size. We customize the spacing between pits to match discharge hoppers.

You can enlarge the size of the grate area by adding bump-outs to your DumPits. The bumpout(s) are designed and built as a part of the structural integrity of the DumPit. The bump-outs extend the grated area between the pits, allowing multiple types of trailers to dump in the grated area.

Another option (not shown below) is to add double bump-outs to your DumPit. This will extend the grated area between the pits and the grated area on both sides of the driveway. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
